Edited version of a Q&A with Jimmy Lai, the chairman of NextMedia Group, at the Foreign Correspondents' Club in Hong Kong on June 24, 2009. NextMedia publishes print titles in Hong Kong such as Apple Daily newspaper and Next magazine. Mr. Lai has other media businesses in Taiwan and is known for his support of Hong Kong's pro-democracy leaders. The session was moderated by Steve Vines, a journalist and broadcaster.
