delicious Patagonian toothfish

Anyone else here because of that one line from Jurassic Park where John Hammond says the chef made Chilean sea bass and then they showed it and it looked delicious?

This recipe is great, easy and can be done with almost any white fish. I used olive oil mixed with seafood seasoning herbs in lieu of the basting oil. This has become one of my standard ways to make fish. Comes out great everytime!

@YoLninYo NO, people with sense or cooking experience know. Celcius would be 266 degree internal temp. My god, common sense. hahahhhaaaaa haha haha.
-
130 F of course.. idiot!!
-
@cliffcox66 All this internet idiocy could have been avoided if the chef had bothered to keep in mind the fact that his audience maybe global. Simple as that. enough of this "debate".

@YoLninYo YOU"RE KIDDING ME?! The definition of searing, even without specifying a temperature is "high" temperature. But use logic, certain food require certain temps to be done. Even at that done temp, for instance rare steak internal temp is minimally 120 degrees. A pan cannot sear with such a low temp. Ohh my god, sorry, you've suckered me into an idiot's debate. Sorry, totally sorry, you'll find the answers.

@cliffcox66 which temp is waay too low? 130C or 130F? ... Chef says it's supposed to be 130F ... think much? ;-)
