i dont usually force the pass to the player infront of the net, but shoot it at them in their general direction with a slap shot. it looks as if i am going to kill my player with a slaphot, if the stick is high i shoot it high if its low i shoot it low. I don't know if it works for you lol.

I noticed the same flaw in the way they defend the overload, in that they send two guys to chase the winger if he goes to the point. I've been trying the same play you use, crashing with my strong side Dman and he always stops and turns after skating like two feet...

Awesome video man. I developed a system for NHL 10 on the rush where I do a one timer after a pass in the slot, but I can't seem to get that right for NHL 11.
You definitely have to dump and chase, do slap passes to get it in the zone and setup.
