Thank you so much, NcKersey, for dowloading this wonderful snippet! Jonathan looks wonderful for his age and still using his voice to wonderful effect. How I envy all those lucky fans there that day, for I know from past DS Festivals how magical it is watching Mr. Frid interacting with all his fans. Bless his heart!

Johnathan Frid.... you will ALWAYS be my first heartthrob! I was 6 years old when I first became hooked on Dark Shadows and I always thought everyone was SO SILLY that they didn't want to be his bride. I would have, in a heartbeat! I love that he has such a sense of humor, you can see it in him being all hunched over as if he couldn't walk with his cane and then... Love ya!

Okay...Usemeordie made me angry! I watched Dark Shadows from almost the begining to the very last day. I loved the original DS & NOTHING has or will be able to hold up to it, but Twilight is good and I remind all of my daughter's friends, Edward was not the first loved vampire, that Jonathan Frid ( DS) was the first. Both were unhappy being vampires/monsters and were in love with someone. Dracula may have been the "first", but Barnabas was the first vampire that hated what he was.

Bless his heart...getting old sucks! But he still has a great spirit and love for his fans obviously!!! I hope I get a chance to meet him before it's too late!!!! I've got my 12 year old daughter hooked on Dark Shadows now!!!!
