  • I just bought a Roland 700gx and connected it from the keyboards r/l output to channel 3/4 of the saffire, im using mackie hr624s so im sure they can handle the quality. but it comes out really crackly?? do i need to connect to the midi or do i have a problem? thanx

  • @MusicmanJakk MIDI shouldn't have anything to do with it. Start with the simple stuff. I'd first check my cables and connections... and check my levels on the Roland and in the Saffire mix software. If you think you have a problem with the Saffire, Focusrite can provide you with support

  • thanks=) i know 3 and 4 work with guitar,so which one of those outputs are for monitors?5,6,3,4,1,2?

  • @sginblack You can route whatever output(s) to be your monitor out with Focusrite's software.

  • i only have a 2.1 system but the cable is a mini cable..

other topic, ive been using this the past few days with cubase 5.1,i cant figure out how to run the two preamps, mics 1 &2, at the same time on seperate tracks without them interfering with each other, what am i doing wrong?

  • @sginblack You will need an adapter for the mini 1/8" stereo cable that goes to your speakers.

Not sure on the Cubase question... Id be looking at my input/output routing.

  • Nice AI but it looks shit like an 80s car stereo graphic eq

  • Hi I just got the Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 Firewire Interface can not get the lights to work and the plugins to install I'm using logic pro 9 can you do a video on that

  • @mariano12mariano yeah i ended uup figuring that one out. i ended up getting the tc electronics firewire twin impact interface

  • @DrumNBum The difference is that pro 24 dsp works with a technology called VRM monitor simulation. Its a nice tool when you're about to put it all together. Whatch the video from 1:45 and you'll understand what VRM is about.

  • the difference from the saffire pro 24 dsp and the saffire pro non dsp is ///////////????????????

  • am i supposed to be able to record vocals with this thing? cuz i have the power on and the mic plugged in and the volume half way up but still i hear nothing

  • is this rack mountable?

  • @jomobeats1

    yes

  • how can someone run this through a home power receiver + hi fi speakers? I mean, there is no RCA outputs..
