WHY OH WHY ARE THESE NOT MADE IN TITANIUM ?
-
Do you know if these lids fit the MSR Ti cup?
-
I bought one from Tinny @ Minibulldesign too. Great lid, fits perfectly on the SP 600. I didn't much care for the little maple knob though. While looking for ideas for a GSI Glacier Cup lid, I ran across a video from johncajunmanbrown where he used a swivel hanger for a knob on a lid he made for the Glacier cup. I went to my local Home Depot and found some OOK Ring Hangers. The Ring Hanger works great. Low profile when not in use/closed position.

I just found out that Tinny at MiniBull Designs makes a lid for the Snow Peak 600. It doesn't have strainer holes; it does have a small vent hole. He's selling them for $12.00.

email Don at Four dog stoves. Tehy're not on the site but he still makes them.

Sweet!
I will be ordering one with holes for my Trek 700.

Fantastic Jason, This is going to be so much nicer then the foil lids I have used for years. I like the idea of the option you have now given us for the SP700, that stainless steel lid was heavy. Wonder if these any of these lids would fit my Primus litech trek kettle? I might have to look at the size of the lids to see. Great Idea!!!!

nice that you have two versions! 5/5 for you, the lid and four dog stoves

Right now I can't even keep up with the 600, 700, and 900 lids so all other models are on hold for a while. Sorry man.

Jason I use tooling foil to make my lid for the Snow Peak 600 and above ,My question to you is does the lids you have made do they fit snugly like the titan kettle lid or is it a loose fit?

They are loose so you can lift it off the pot with one hand. I love the Titan kettle but I hate how tight the lid is because you have to pretty much use 2 hands to get the thing off. I think you would like the fit of these lids.

Put me down for a Snowpeak Trek 900 lid... I don't always need my frying pan and would love a lighter lid.
Give Tinny a pat on the back for me!

Tinny didn't make these. My friend Don from Four Dog Stoves makes them for me.
