what language is it written in? and is it available for open development?

@tastingo88 The display is available from Liquidware and costs$174.93 on its own. There is a bit of a price break if you buy the MegaPalm which is the LCD, Arduino Mega, ButtonPad and (optionally) Battery Pack.

Yes I'm using the MegaPalm from Liquidware as well as a custom adapter board. Both of which can be purchased on my site in the 'Buy' section.
