Well, don't forget they worked with a different code of points back then. You don't get rewarded for extra difficulty once you've hit a start value of 10.0 - this routine was already a 10.0, so she really didn't need to do a more difficult second pass. If you had a SV of say 10.5 you won't get marked out of 10.5, but only a 10.0. Things are so different with the new code today.

The Soviets had so much more difficulty than everybody else. Especially Gutsue.
