Flag Grappling - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Drill.

The Flag Grappling Drill is a terrific drill for all ages. It teaches students positioning, how to use defense to keep the opponent away while working your BJJ offense.

The Rules of Flag Grappling is simple. Students slide a two belt strips (each belt strip is 2" long) between their belt - One on each side. Two students face each other. On the "Go" command, the student attempt to grab the opponents 2 belt strip. First student to grab both strips wins.

Remember that students are not allow to hold their belts with their hands.
