No wonder some neocons want to stop funding NPR. It may be the only remaining mainstream media venue where world-weary warriors like Paula Poundstone can slip in a little truth from time to time.

From "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" on NPR
Peter Sagal, Adam Felber, Faith Salie and Paula Poundstone

  • Big Brother won't get any ideas, will he? Nyuk nyuk. Nice to see a new penniless video up! Have you watched any of the amazing Chris Hedges videos? He's pretty excellent about the loss of freedoms in America, and the whys and wherefores.

  • hey tees nice to see you

oh you can trust big brother--he's just like family

yeah chris hedges. i'll check him out on the tubes. i've read 'empire of illusion' and shorter pieces here & there.

i'm glad he's doing what he's doing, but am still longing for the day we stop cataloging the multifarious ills of this destructive system & start exploring what's next. so yeah he's great on the whys and wherefores, but stops short when it comes to the so what

    unless i'm missing something

  • Wow a new penniless video!

Funny clip, scary too. I love NPR but I regret to say i've never donated. Maybe I should make sure to help them out when I can.

    Thanks for sharing.
