Watched the movie, found this, bought it. Wouldn't have found it under SOPA...
Randy Newman is great, from "Jolly coppers on parade" until "When she loved me". This guy is working at his music every day, 8 hours, and it shows.

But see? That's just the point! It can't stop at once, because it's in you, and you can't stop something that's inside you

"Randy Newman and Thomas Newman don't really have distinctive scores though. "
-
whaa?? Thomas Newman rips himself off as much as anyone does in Hollywood and has one of the most distinctive styles in film scoring.
-
@jpmoney2k1 What?! No way, I was just joking.
-
@CatFlashBlue Yes. They're cousins.
-
So... are Randy Newman and Thomas Newman related? =)

I love Toy Story and The Natural but this really is Randy Newman's greatest long-form score ever.

Just like 'Out of Africa', also a great tune. John Barry Soundtrack

@brookeiscool3 most composers have something called a musical signature; a certain way of arranging chords and melodies that tie their pieces together somewhat.

I wish there were a longer sequence of the music that starts at 1:35-3:45. I love it so much.

I bought this album on itune, and just for the song "mural" (2:07 to 4:08)... my god it worth the 10$. Take a good pair of headphones or a big sound sytem and play it loud! WOW
