The "Republic" could not protect the citizens against invading armies like the Droid Army. Thank the heavens for the GALATIC EMPIRE who has brought peace and order to the galaxy!

@kokomotoysonline Are you crazy? xD That's was because of the corruption in the senate, and most important, because the senate, in the last years, was only Palpatine, and all you know that Palpatine was a ...(SPOILER). If the droid army invade coruscant or other worlds under republic control was only because palpatine let them do it. The Republic, and of course, the Jedi Order, were, are and will be the truth protectors of the civilians wills and necesities.
