Dark Souls level 1 run though

This is a run though of the first proper stage in Dark Souls. I had already defeated the BOSS, so he isn't present. I will annotate his location on the video. [on the bridge at 8:15]

The video begins at the main campfire (nexus). There are no gateways to travel though as in Demons Souls, you just wander off down a path to other areas. I chose the easy path for starting out. There are 2 other pathways but both would see me die in a few minutes as this is DAY 1 release in Japan & my character is still low level.

This is filmed from TV screen using a digital camera, so quality is obviously not native HD.

@AssasinOfBrotherhood It is more interesting & more difficult - so I wouldnt say I like it more, but I do like it. Its a great sequel. The new environments & enemies are awesome, the difficulty is depressing LOL

Not roll or defend in Demon's Souls = Death.

Looks like the same rule applies to Dark Souls

@HumbertoMendess I got past that boar right after this. His armour is too strong for me, so I hid behind the pillars on the right & drew him out.

The game is very similar overall to Demons Souls, but I think the enemies are much tougher. For example this is level one: there is a huge BOSS, then the dragon, then that boar followed by a few death knights! With a basic +1 longsword you cant do much damage.

@ninjasoul69 You can go on co-op but it's a problem you have to collect those "Human Souls" You only need 1 and be at the bonfire to reverse (I forgot what it's called) Then you can summon a random person but when the host dies.You lose him.

But i dunno if hes actully playing when i looked at the manuel however you spell it.

It says hes a ghost you can't talk to ghosts. I got to say it's an interesting game but a very HARD one.
