Del Shannon singing "Handy Man" which was a Top 30 hit in 1964. Released on Amy Records 45rpm #905 in the USA.

@jlfieldad Jimmy Jones wrote the song when he was with a group called the Sparks of Rhythm, Jones left the group and after he did, the Sparks of Rhythm recorded it without Jones. When Jimmy Jones recorded his hit version, Otis Blackwell produced and helped re-write the lyrics a bit.
So the Sparks of Rhythm are actually the first artists to record the song.

Disagree. Jimmy Jone's version was brilliant, but Del covered this song with equal appeal, not many artists emulate the original version.
