I used to rule the school
Freshmen rose cause I made the rules
Now in the morning I lie awake
Thinkin of all the choices to make

I used to walk the halls
Feelin fear but feeling tall
Four years passed by in a blink
Im faced with a change; Im out on the brink

One minute I held the key
Now these doors will close on me
And I discovered all I have in hand

I hear the classroom bells a-ringin
But not for me; Im graduatin
Remember all I did with zeal

For some reason I can't explain

But that was when I ruled the school

Blew down the doors to let me in

Tests and projects and a classroom hum
People still cant believe what I've become
