And he (CHrist) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, ( In the mids of the propecy week ,the 70th week He died and 3 1/2 years later steven was stoned,and the gospel went to the gentiles.

Luke 13:34,35 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Christ DOES confirm the covenant. He even says it HIMSELF.
Matthew 26:28 "For this is my blood of the new COVENANT, which is shed for MANY for the remission of sins."
Which mirrors to EXACTLY to what Daniel said with "And he shall confirm the COVENANT with MANY for one week"(Daniel 9:27).
You and anyone else who believes that Daniel 9:27 is about an antichrist - is a bonafide HERETIC!!

@TUInHighDef so true. the antichrist is the one who confirms the covenant. with israel. he will break the covenant with israel and go into thier temple and desocrate it

This is not correct at all.
The "he" in that verse is clearly the antichrist. The antichrist will confirm the Abrahamic covenant for 7 years. 3.5 years into those 7 years the antichrist will stand in the rebuilt Jewish temple on the temple mount and declare himself to be God - falsely.
3.5 years after THAT is the war of Armageddon - the last war. At Armageddon Christ will return to set up the 1000 year reign.
