Sorry to burst the revisionist's bubbles, but the MTM show was great because of MTM, Ed Asner, Gavin McLeod, Ted Knight, George Engel (later Robbie's MIL on "Raymond"), Valerie Harper, and Cloris Leachman. Betty's character Sue Ann Nivens was tiresome and annoying.
