Yeah Neely Fuller talked about this problem...A huge part of it is "shading" Or looking at the shade of a Black's skin. For YEARS Blacks would brag about being a little lighter..light skined Blacks were popular, treated a ..little bit better by whites.(Vanessa Williams) the Indian "caste" system. You may be too young to remember, but 17 years ago, a terrible racist known as Louis Farrakhan united tens of thousands of blacks for a march on Washington DC.

Why are you asking him to look at what happened to MLK? It's not quite ancient history, but this nation is radically different than it was in 1968.
