That comment seems to be misplaced - it belongs on a thread tied to a Vince Foster conspiracy video.

"The Family" has been reported on by the LA Times, The Washington Post, AP and most significantly by journalist Jeff Sharlet. The Family is quite real. It's an influence peddling rng and a power cult but does not, to my knowledge, engage directly in assassinations.

The Harper's article mentions The Family supported Brazilian dictator General Costa e Silva, General Suharto (ordered hundreds of thousands executed, Salvadoran general Carlos Eugenios Vides Casanova, (convicted by a Florida jury of the torture of thousands), Honduran general Gustavo Alvarez Martinez, himself an evangelical minister,linked to both CIA and death squads.
