@2112christosk i dont know if they were ever simular to others but i like bundle of hiss and mudhoney also a dead kennedys fang was also great but again wipers came out in a time when punk was still raw and they formed around it defining themselves as a completely different sound..if you like mudhoney also look for green river mark arm first band

these guys were genuine new guys are just imitating an earlier style championed by true dudes like the wipers, black flag, etc.
something urgent about the original "punk rock" like this.
there is a lack of sincerity, originality, or urgency like there is here.
I am a wipers fan like many others here each one of us needs to start our own personal revolution of human sincerity.
great art is forever and should always be an expression of truth, the wipers did that no matter how unnoticed they were.
