Robert Redford is opposing an eco-village near his property in the Napa Valley whilst quietly selling $2 million lots in the Sundance Preserve for luxury vacation homes.

The creators of this video would have you believe that people can be put in little boxes based on their beliefs. I prefer to believe that each person is an infinitely complex intelligence which is capable of constantly re-examining their views of the world based on new evidence.

1) Redford is a property owner and can sell off residential parcels.

2) Redford can oppose development adjacent to his agricultural operation because such development puts constraints upon how he can run his vineyard.

3) Redford, along with thousands of independent & corporate scientists working for increased energy efficiency and on alternatives to fossil fuels support the effort to ensure energy in a post-fossil fuel future.

4) Airliners and military transports run on biofuel now.

He has been invited to participate in debates on the enviroment many times and he always declines. He knows he will get killed in a debate with any knowledgeable person. So he declines. Really? Then you have quite an imagination. As I've stated, the guy has a lifestyle where he uses huge amounts of oil. He has a palatial estate in Utah. Think how much fuel it takes to heat that place. He flys in private jets. Think about the oil required. Robert Redford will never make any sacrifices himself. United Airlines planes fly on aviation fuel that is refined petroleum. Nothing else has the energy density for aircraft. You are in fact if you use ANY petroleum product. Is there any other type of oil company except big oil? Oil companies are not ma & pa operations and cannot be such. Were you born that stupid or did you have to train for it?
