Cool VId! I think its important to not let it run dry because the temperature when extracting drops dramatically without the hot H20 isn't acting as a insulator. Often some of coffees negative characteristics are displayed when extraction occurs too hot or too cool. Just a thought.

What kettle are you using ?

Hi klarinetta, I spoke with Jess at Drip Bar and she says they are using a Takahiro 0.9L Kettle, purchased from rakuten.com. She prefers it over the Buono because there are no plastic parts and the handle is more ergonomic. Thanks for watching!
