New Geordie Shore cast members defend programme

New cast mates Rebecca Walker and Ricci Guamaccio have promised fans that the new series of reality show Geordie Shore will be even better than the first.

Rebecca also defended the programme saying that it offered an accurate picture of young life in Newcastle.

Newcastle Central's MP Chi Onwurah previously described the programme as "bordering on the pornographic".

The second series begins on 31 January on MTV.
