@MegaMarclar If you move a magnet past a coil you get electricity buy an efficent alternator takes a little bit more design. Their are plenty of videos on yt or you could check hugh piggots book

Noisy unit. Maybe a sharper leading edge on the blades, more blades too would help out. Great job all around. This is how we get free from the crazy electric bills.

The question they avoid is "is it as efficient as the commercially available generators?"
Not knocking it at all. Great work. I'm checking to see if I can manage one of these myself. But it's an important question.
