FROM NRE: A 1973 Camaro which we've caged, minitubbed, completely stripped to bare metal and powder coated the entire car. The motor is a 406 twin turbo making 1540 hp and 1527 lbs of torque.

We are going to prove to everyone you can "have your cake and eat it to."

We are going to drive the car 300 miles a day, stopping at a race track everyday, for 5 days. 1500 miles and 5 race days in 5 days, with no support vehicle. Sounds pretty crazy? Did we mention we are planning on running in 8 second quarter miles?

Our goal is to illustrate that you can own a car that smooth running, mellow-idling, easy-driving, pump-gas cruiser - and still make 1500hp, 8 second passes.

We call it the "F-bomb" becuase when it arrived at NRE, it looked like a Scud hit it.

  • I don't understand the point of arguing. All this American VS all else is pointless.

Most of you are watching this because you love cars. Anything with a combustion engine is brilliant. japan and Europe are small, hence smaller cars. America is a big place, hence big block engined cars.

saying either is shit is a null argument. I'm from the U.K and having a Small block V8 here just...does NOT work. I love great handling cars, but also love diff crushing American muscle.

    this car is amazing

  • Toms brother looks like a tard poser..

  • I dislike v8's but holy shit that thing is a monster

  • These guys are just a bunch of rednecks? There is nothing redneck about 1500 horsepower and this much technology

  • small block????? 1500 horse wow

  • Years later.... Still one of my favorite builds. Massive horsepressure in a crude, lightweight shitbox.

  • authentic work of american art, a fellow american that should be in an american art museum

  • So Tom if you want your money back I will give you the $800 the car cost...maybe even a lil bit more, better hurry tho cause I might buy a different one lol.

1985 Camaro roller 350 carbed with turbo, project 2010 almost done

  • @NICKSmyNAMEbitch I sure as hell am. Effortless American muscle that can go nuts if needs be. Alas, its not very practical here. Maybe one day Ill get to experience some crazy horsepower.

  • @lt1eg6 are u a fan of the lt1 engine

  • "Plus they're going to look wheelie cool" CORNY! lol

  • @DoctorVideoGame It'll make just shy of 1000 hp on pump @ 14 psi (if I remember correctly from the HotRod mag the engine was in). It's lowest setting is about 7 psi and it makes 750 hp. It has 2 separate fuel systems and tanks; 1 big pump gas tank, and a 5 gallon cell for race fuel. When it hits a certain psi (at about 850-900hp to be on the safe side), the race system kicks in and uses the high grade.
