  • "Let's be 1905 and not 1917" has to be the geekiest anarchist reference in a song ever.

  • So true, Frank Turner is really the last of the greatests. such a shame how he really isn't recognised as much as some people who are way less talented than him. Frank Turner Forever<3

  • Suck on that Justin bieber, that is what real music sounds like

  • Wow! The lyrics actually make sense that's rare in songs nowadays, he's singing with singing's original purpose,to get his message across well done, great song

  • "There are no victories, there's only the battle. And the best that you could hope for is that you find some place where you can make your stand." Roy Montgomery, Castle, Torrented. Fuck Anti P2P

  • As someone who is 'washed up and tired', I'd like to thanks Frank for kicking my backside and reminding me that we need people to 'insist on the impossible'.

    So come on.........

  • his voice somehow reminds me of Jeff Mangum from Neutral Milk Hotel <3 It's great and they are both amazing songwriters. they should do a duet. :)

  • oh my god

  • Yeah, in I Was A Teenage Anarchist youthful enthusiasm has calmed down, whereas in Love Ire & Song someone's still looking for it.

  • only with the difference that Frank Turner still believes in change and learns from defeats, Against Me! don't, they have given up. It's a shame, I want the Baby, I'm an anarchist Against Me! back!

  • In 1905 and 1917 there were revolutions in Russia (Lenin was pushing for power). Simply put, it was Communists Vs. Tsar Nicholas II, a sort of royal dictator.

The 1905 revolution ended when the two sides came to a peaceful agreement, sort of a political middle ground. In 1917 the Revolutionaries used military strength to seize power, murdered land owners (the 'bankers' of the time) & killed the Tsar and his family in 1918...

    All in all, 1917 was more violent & riot-like than 1905 :)
