  • The evo driver was terrible. Stock evo put around 230ish to the wheels. Stock Srt4 have been known to do the same. Stage 1 would put the neon at a decent advantage but the race would have been much closer. Once again, just a guy that can't drive his evo.

  • @MrBoostedyota73 The usual drivetrain loss for most AWD vehicles is about ~20%, the Evo only loses about 10% tuned of course.

  • @MrBoostedyota73 That would put it roughly at the same whp as the evo. Meaning the SRT-4 shouldn't have won by...what was that like 6 car lengths and still going? The stock evo thru drivetrain loss puts it at roughly 250 to the wheel. I know this for a fact, on my second evo, but tuned and dyno'd. So Mopars stage 1 puts it at roughly 250 as well. Both going WOT, going by those numbers, the evo should've lost by only a car length or so due to power to weight ratio, but not as much as he did.

  • @typemgtst 215 on paper, I know for a fact on my first evo, pure stock and factory tune on a street dyno it dyno'd at around 250. With intake/exhaust/tune/mild272's/­walboro it jumped up to 340/330 to the wheels using 3rd gear pulls.

    The only reason this guy won as much as he did is because as I stated Evo had a horrible driver and the skittle had more mods than mentioned.

  • @Nutz4Tutz this is where you sound silly... your talking about crank numbers and thats fine, but NSRT4s put down advertised crank numbers to the wheels. Evo 8s dont. your looking at 205-215whp because of the drivetrain loss. honestly, stock srt turbos put down crazy amounts of torque and we all know, torque wins races, not hp.
