This is a video clip from the Black Eyed Peas' Let's Get Started.
This is not to ruin or to throw negative thougths toward this group. I just want you to know that for me as a christian, one of the things that I do believe is that there is battle happening regarding music.
For your information:
In the beginning Satan was known as Lucifer or in the Hebrew language "Hillel Ben Shahar"
The name "Hillel came from the root word "Hallel, which means " to praise, worship, adore"
Ben Sharhar meant "son of the dawn"
The implication is that Lucifer was the chief worship leader at the dawn of creation endowed with gifts of leadership and creativity in music.
Lucifer—the most powerful, the most intelligent and most beautiful spirit ever created was a
cherub an angel.
From the Bible we can see that his name means shining one or morning star.
In Isaiah14:12 he is called O Lucifer, son of the morning!
Also read Ezekiel 28, It refers to Lucifer's rebellion.
If you have read the verses, Lucifer wants to be like god, he thinks he is a god. That's why God threw him out of the heaven. If you have read Genesis (The creation)
IF YOU NOTICE as you read it "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. then the next verse said that the earth was formless. Haven't you wonder why it's formless? It is because in the beginning, Lucifer was already there, then he rebelled against God, then God threw him to the earth, that's why the earth became formless.
-What's the connection to music?
Because Satan/Lucifer was the FORMER worship leader in heaven, he knows everything about music. And he is using it for us to worship him without even knowing it.
Satan won't appear in front of you and say "WORSHIP ME!"
anyone, even a drunk man or an addict would run as fast as they could if they saw satan in front of them.
so satan uses secular music as an instrument for you to worship him.
REMEMBER THAT MUSIC IS A VERY POWERFUL THING. IT CONTROLS YOUR EMOTION, EVEN YOUR ADRENALINE GLAND.
Just be careful to what you are listening, the artists, their lifestyle, they backgrounds, their life.
