A description of how the men and women of J(Sidi Rezegh) Bty (a UK AS90 Bty) saw the massive changes in Southern Iraq in 2008. These people grafted in temp of up to 60 Deg C, but remained adaptable to the changing counter insurgency situation. Having started off manning AS90 (to date the last time the British Army has fired that weapon system in anger) they quickly moved down town to infamous areas, such as the Hyyaniah, and performed other mundane security tasks at the International Airport. This operation by 7 Armd Bde was COIN in operation at it's most fluid, in the aftermath of Operation Charge of the Knights.
