@CallumJStewart Funny, there actually was a character in Star Wars called "Villian." He was one of the TIE pilots. I know, I'm a SW nerd, but I just HAD to point that out.

That looks like it was maybe made 50 years before Star Wars, rather than 30. By 1947, The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind were old news, so I think they could create some better FX than that. :-)
I agree: Nice use of the original copy.

I like how you used the original copy from the teaser trailer :)

Can someone tell me which movie the earth based premake guy is from, and where the c-3p0 premake person is from? Thanks!

You could use clips from planet of the vampires and IT! the terror from beyond space to make a Premakes ALIEN...

@CallumJStewart There's a 60's film with Michael Rene called Cyborg 2087 that is about someone coming from the future and being hunted by cyborgs.

You know what premake I'd love to see someone do? A 1950 version of THE TERMINATOR.

Just check out the OUTER LIMITS episode SOLIDER. James Cameron totally ripped it off.

No worries - glad you enjoyed the video! You should check out whoiseyevan's premake trailers. They're a million times better than mine.

this is great! just wondering what film you found the bird-like monster (at 0:45)?

@debbeau
It's from a movie called BELA LUGOSI MEETS A BROOKLYN GORILLA. I was originally going to use a shot of the gorilla and pass it off as a 1947 attempt at a Wookie, but I figured the witch doctor in the bird mask was weirder and more STAR WARS-esque.
