Samsung Rethink the Laptop Event

Samsung showcased its newest mobile PCs, many of which feature Intel's new third-generation processors, in NYC on June 5, 2012. Todd Bouman, vice president of marketing at Samsung Enterprise Business Division, was in attendance to discuss highlights of the new products with the media, who were impressed with Samsung's latest designs.

All that's fine and dandy, but how about prices? Note that not only these laptops have to match or beat Apple's newest MBP & MBA spec-wise, but they have to do it at a sizable price markdown. $50-100 markdown won't help against similarly-specc'd Apple stuff. There needs to be at least $300 price difference between the two competing devices to warrant a second look at non-Apple laptops.
