@salman2004 I'm sorry to nit pic but when you say that entropy is increasing in the world, you mean the universe right? Entropy can decrease in the world, It just has to decrease/remain the same in the universe. I'm pretty sure this is what you meant but I just wanted to give a piece of advice if that's not what you meant
Life is an organizing force and as such does reduce entropy locally, but at the expense of exporting an even greater amount into the surroundings. Thus entropy of the system (biological organism plus its environment) does increase overall.
I just wanted to comment that entropy of course always increasing in the world, so conceptually thinking, entropy is the increase of states that energy can exist in (so something like O2 is diatomic molecule has more states that energy can exist in cause it has 2 atoms) so i was thinking if entropy of the world is constantly increasing then the creation of such complicated organism like humans (i am a bio major) would or should cause the entropy of the world to decrease!
Wow, I feel exactly the same. The motive force behind our physical, economic and social evolution is extracting ever greater net energy gains from our environment and also, by using each energy unit with greater work efficiency. Growth. And today, the huge energy bubble that is our global profit system of energy exchange is collapsing, rates of finite energy resource extraction are falling, entropy is increasing and we are now at natures mercy. May your wise earthly grandmother rest in peace ;-)

Hello,
I just wanted to comment that entropy of course always increasing in the world, so conceptually thinking, entropy is the increase of states that energy can exist in (so something like O2 is diatomic molecule has more states that energy can exist in cause it has 2 atoms) so i was thinking if entropy of the world is constantly increasing then the creation of such complicated organism like humans (i am a bio major) would or should cause the entropy of the world to decrease!
