This is a 17 grain Hornady ballistic tip bullet going into a ground squirrel that was approximately 100 yards away. It is extremely windy, so the camera has a slight shudder.

  • dear weeners, people hunt and eat game. Its no different than you buying a nicely clean packaged pound of ground round that had some poor cow with a spear stuck through his head and cleaned, then put in the feezer section of a grocery store with a nice clean looking price tag with no signs of a real live animal that was killed behind it. Go eat some tofu and shut up, you fart bags

  • @kornrammsteinknot I love the hollow points for mine. the ballistic tip v-max ones work well too. TNT in an appropriate name for the hp ammo

  • 17 hmr is awesome with hollow points and silver tips on armadillos if your in a area there in blows holes out the exit wound the size of a softball or more

  • This is frickin funny I had to watch it twice

  • @Rl831 Really thats an extremly weird coiscedence mines supposed to come on thursday

  • what would this do to a human?

  • lol this would have been a better vid if the quality didn't suck so much.....also would hdve been rally funneh if u had put the "No squirrels were harmed in the making of this video" at the end....LOL

only reason i don't have a .17hmr is the cost of the ammo........i have 4 .22s so don't really need another plinker........but i might get one one day......

  • if you can get both. i have both and love them. my .17 is bolt action but i recommend a ruger 10/22 for a reliable .22
