when did this hit i cant recall a tornado touching down in pound and i lived here my whole life since 1992 please msg me back with the date it happened

Thank God no one was killed.
This was an F2 Tornado--Per The Weather Channel.

I think this makes the 6th tornado in just over a years time in the Wise, Dickenson and Russell county area. I am concerned that this area will be hit by a big one. I feel it is just a matter of time. We have been lucky so far. It still amazes me no one was killed by one of these yet. Always take shelter when under a warning. A life is more important than material things. It is a miracle that those who lost their house are here to tell about it. BTW it was an EF-2 that hit.

Update--Just read in the coalfield you can make money donations to New People's Bank in Pound & Norton under "Burnham Tornado Relief fund"
