  • i didn't say anything about high-rev testing :D

  • actually it's quite loud there but my digicam don't perform nicely. anyway, i just checked, yes it's not high rev testing. the test was conduct before the qualifying round. anyway, thanks for the info!

  • sorry guys, yeah..it's not a high rev testing..

but actually, the sound much louder than the one in that clip. i got Ferrari engine testing clip also, i will post it later..

  • i hear the power from the enginges exhaust on an f1 car pushes the back end into the tarmack giving the back wheels more grip on the track...so the engines exhaust actually play a big part in earodynamics

  • Smartest comment I have read on youtube in a while. :)

  • @kinkaid25 now they don't they have been banned, they were called blown exhaust diffusers

  • @craigg1981 I do engine sounds for games... I have a tool that tells me the RPM to within a single RPM. Hmm, It tells me that it's 3500 at the start and then rises to about 5300 about 5 seconds in.

  • @soundfx68 You sure?? Steve Matchett who used to be a Benneton chief mechanic said on SPEED TV last season that it was between 8-9,000 at idle... $ doesnt sound right just because of how high strung those motors are.....

  • @Jerrycobra actually it's 4 k

  • McLAREN 2010 CHAMPIONS !!!!!!!!

  • the idle alone is like over 6000rpm

  • high rev? that's not even idle.

  • theyre making a check that everything works, it's what they normally do when they swap the engine. OR they could be running the oil and such warm (however, the oil and coolants are put in the car as hot, and they are run trough the engine before the engine is running.)

  • Thats not high rev
