hello i have done typing the "doctype" and the rest of it, i also used notepad++. But when i checked it, it doesn't look like yours, i mean the address. This is mine "file:///C:/Users/administrator/Desktop/webdesign/index.html", no 20%20% something. I checked the codes and i copied it right. Is there something wrong? please help. Thanks in andvance.

For the DOCTYPE, for HTML5, use <!DOCTYPE html>
