I think I've read that BMW is recalling a lot of Minis due to problems with the electric water pump as I understand.

@nitroboyn2o The rating system in the US is different than in Europe. Gas with AKI rating of 93 is about the same as RON 98 octane gas in Europe. Nevertheless, Shell V-Power in most european countries is RON 100.

@nitroboyn2o here in Portugal we have 95 and 98 octanes only. 95 octanes costs nowadays about 1.60 euros per litre and 98 octanes is sold for about 1.70 euros per litre :( diesel is a little cheaper, costs about 1.50 euros per litre...

how many octane is V-power in the U.K.? In the U.S. its only 93 but I heard in some european countries they have octanes up to 98.
