The film is from Charlie Chaplin's "City Lights" (1931), set to the song "One Step at a Time," recorded by the original Cretins in 1993 at Metropolis Studio in Columbus, Ohio.

I call our band "the original Cretins" because there have since been other bands using the name. We used the name The Cretins from 1980 to 1995 (when we became Dark Dixie).

On this recording are Dan See (guitars and lead vocals), Bill Fridley (guitars), Mike Fridley (drums), Barb Morris (bass and harmony vocals), and Columbus legend Ric Boals (bongos and percussion). There may be some remnants of Chris Allwein's bass and vocals from earlier recordings. "One Step at a Time" was written by Bill Fridley and Dan See and will soon be available as a single on I-Tunes and Amazon.

The video is a William Lloyd Creation. Go to www.williamlloydcreations.com,
