This is a modification from previous experiments. The rotor is bigger and uses powerful rare earth magnets. I built a special commutator because I wanted to use the previous proven circuits on this model but reed switches can't handle the high current and transistors only work on the negative side of the coil bank where the circuit required the switches on the positive side. So I made an adjustable commutator. One of the circuits did not work with this model so far. In fact, these magnets are so strong, that when supplied with the large current needed to get the rotor up to working speed, I believe I over-saturated the small cores of the coils.
Still more test to do on this model.

On the first half of this video the motor is running on 24 volts using this circuit,
http://www.mintakafulcrum.net/Instructionsmk4.htm which did seem to work to some degree as the motor does appear not to draw extra current under load.

I'll do more testing but I need six batteries to do this properly.

The second half of the video the motor is running from one battery bank and with no recovery circuits. The draw goes up considerably under load.

  • Do this without any external fuel. Simply plug in, "Fuelless Magnetic Motor" into YouTube.

Nice engineering though. Keep up the nice work.

  • Your work reminds me of Troy Reid. As far as shielding goes, you could probably make a Hallback array.

Thanks for the compliment. Best of luck with your project.

  • Could post a paragraph or two for the layman about what is going on here? I came by almost at random, and now I'm intrigued. Also I see that info is no longer availabe on your site.

  • It's a bit too detailed to summarize here, but in time that may be possible.

  • I doubt this motor would be very efficient on a toy car. Just think about it, 1.6A / 36V and you can slow it down with two fingers.

Maybe use the back emf to charge capacitors/batteries. That would be something.

  • This model as shown also had eight generator coils with cores that it was moving past. The video was to show the way two different circuits behave under mechanical load.. and yes, I have done what you've suggested... see my other videos posted.

  • But does it blend?

  • Sounds like a V8.

  • The sound reminds me of a movie-"The African Queen" with Humphrey Bogart"-HA! I made an electric motor years ago in my youth, armature had 2 poles:)

  • A windshield wiper motor does the same thing. I don't get it.

  • i am really getting tired of this neodymium magnets crap, just make one that i can use for my car and supply power so i dont have to buy gas. Even better, one generator for my house so i dont have to pay 1000 dollars every year to the power company and that way i can have electricity every were i go on this planet

  • Free Energy is real and its here! The Oil companies are doing everything in their power to stop these

  • so this is... u get electrisity from engine witch doesnt need power?

  • Awesome sound! Like a Harley or WW2 aircraft!
