Dear Dr. Suzuki,
When I visited with Mary Jane, downstairs from you in Kitsilano back in the 60s, the city was just starting to see an influx of US kids crossing the 49th because they could not in good conscience make war on Vietnam. If I were PM, I'd figure out a way to let enlistees who want to get out of the US military stay in Canada.

Yes I'm sure they were disappointed. I never sucked into his beliefs though as I could tell he was a phony by the way he talked. And I wonder why he is going on a bus tour? Doesn't that spew C02 into the air? Or is Suzuki exempt from causing so called Global warming. Someone should ask him what caused the previous global warming episodes. He'd shit his pants and duck the question

To the person who thought David Suzuki should have driven across Canada in a biodeisel bus but was 'too cheap' to do so -- guess what! It WAS biodiesel, haha.. Guess you shoulda checked your facts, hunh? -- but seriously, what's to be gained by criticizing a cross country trip to raise awareness of a much larger problem? You don't have to be a saint to be an environmentalist.
