Basketball Highlights of Michael Cobbins of Amarillo Palo Duro.
8-10-09 - I believe Memphis and UConn can be added to the list of schools very interested in Michael.
7-31-09 - Michael has been steadily climbing the rivals.com list and the scout.com list of the top players in the country. Currently scout.com lists him as the 56th overall best player in the country for class of 2010, as well as being the 14th ranked Power Forward. Rivals.com has him even higher - currently the 37th best player overall, and the 9th best Power Forward. More and more schools are obviously becoming very interested in signing him. The scout.com list of prospective schools is getting longer and includes some of the best programs in the country - Florida, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, USC, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Indiana State, Marquette, Providence, Arizona State, and Texas Tech. That list says that there are offers from New Mexico, OU, OSU, USC, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Indiana State, Marquette and Providence. Michael has obviously been working hard to improve his standing in the class of 2010 recruits.

Take a strong look at Memphis we could really use a guy like him. If he grows he can continue to be a 4 and he looks like he could play on the wing
