Thank you for making this video...I was there for four years 1989-1993 and really enjoyed my time there - I miss it too! Brings back a lot of good memories and I even recognize some of the people in the video. Really liked seeing the Northwest B747 and the terminal building.
Part 3:08 Quality Air Force. Another program that didn't work for the Air Force. The MSgt in the video instructing it was in my Squadron 630 AMSS and retired early because of a brain tumor. I was at his retirement ceremony at the Enlisted Club.
A boeing 747 at Yokota! Oh the memories! I was there in the 1980's and am now retired in Okinawa and still visit Yokota regularly. Awesome video...great job!
My name is Mike Skidmore and my father was the 6100th support wing historian from april 1967 to december 1969 and house number 105 in american village was our home and they showed my bedroom in the video. I am a graduate of Yamato High School class of 1969. It was our second trip back to Tachi, My father was stationed at Tachikawa from 1958 to 1962 as editor of the base newspaper. Growing up at Tachi was the best time of my life.
