  • Sorry mate. It's been reconditioned, alot of time and alot of money. it's worth more than that.

  • yeah mate it's for sale.

  • I'd be concerned about that rubber fuel line running up over the exhaust manafold.

  • Nah. We've hcecked it all out, it's all fine. The motors now for sale anyways, we're re powering with a v8. Got it at a good price so why not. The 165's beautiful though.

  • Yeah i would take one, but the motor is out of the boat and it is for sale now, we have just bought a new v8 mercruiser. It was a great motor, we just had the chance to get the v8 for more power is all, not that the 165 isnt enough. We needed a new transom assembley and we got this v8 almost for the price of a new one of those so yeah, we decided a swap over while the motor is out the boat was in order.

  • I am rebuilding my motor right now lots of work great video. I need to make a cover for my motor too, what kind of boat is that

  • Hey. cheers. its a Bertram 20 footer. Great boat, ecellent in rough seas.

  • Did you ever ran that boat in Salt Water?

    FernDiesel

  • I had a 1970 International 21'' cabin cutty with the same engine with an alfa one drive. She never missed a season in salt water and even though she would overheat on the first time out each year she would always clear her self out and run perfect for the rest of the season. She sadly took on water one night and sank in 1997. My father bought that boat when I was 3 and gave her to me when I was 15. I was 20 when she went down. I miss her alot of good memories RIP my TINCAN

  • my grampa had a boat with that same engine and it overheated for hours and still ran perfect with no knocking. its a rock solid motor.

  • Hey what outdrive and prop do you got on yours. It didnt look like the 165 drive?
