Beautiful improvisation...please listen and tell me what you think of it. This is a beautiful organ in Neenah, Wisconsin, USA, built by Aeolian-Skinner, and then rebuilt and enlarged by Goulding and Wood. In recent weeks a new Trumpette en Chamade was added. It is a large organ and at 62 ranks, is the largest in the area where I live. This improv shows off the beautiful Oboe first and then the Clarinet. We then hear the Choir cornet. Then to accompany it all I show off some of the beautiful strings with their partnering Celestes. Finally, we hear the lovely Flute Celeste.

  • The sound of the organ is really special. It would even gain if you played some Rheinberger Sonata.

  • @oktav1970 If you go to my concert there this summer you will here the rheinberger 8th sonata on it. I will be posting a video advertising it so keep you eye out for it when the time gets closer! Thanks for the comment! Blessings, Don

  • You're right, it's beautiful indeed! The strings were delicious!! Bravo!....

  • beautiful. always remember how to play like that

  • Quite lovely work! You have a gifted ear for improvisation. Thank you!

  • @captainsylee cool :) yeah i knew they modified the sound, but, as you can see by the username haha, my specialty is percussion :)

  • @screamodrummer1234 those are accessories on the organ that are called memory pistons. You can set up a piston to remember a stop combination so that you can press a single button and the organ will automatically pull out the stops you set it up to..

  • automatic shifty things at 0:07 ftw!!!

  • who build the console?

a low-profile console like that really should have terraced stopjambs. i really think they look silly with english vertical stopjambs like that.
