This was really fascinating. Can you do a similar type of essay on Disney cartoons as well?

I did do another profile focused on Donald Duck being used as a mascot for income taxes during World War II. Just look through my video listings and you can find it.

I'll check that out, thanks. :) I know that on some of the Walt Disney's Treasures dvd sets, Leonard Maltin gives a disclaimer about any cartoons with "politically incorrect" humor on them. I don't know if Disney has its own version of the Censored Eleven or not, though.

Not at all. Disney didn't do much in the way of racial humor compared to what Warner Bros has done so whatever they have out on DVD is all they have. There have only been a couple cases I know of where Disney responded to racial content, both related to black stereotypes. The first is the late 1940s live-action/ animated movie Song of the South which has never seen a video release here in the states and cut scenes from Fantasia featuring a centaur in the form of a black servant.
