I wrote this song about 3 am at my mothers bedside one week and to the hour of her passing. My mother had the awful disease Alzheimers.

  • HI rod, nice music - I know what you went through, I am working with elderly people, just watching how a woman is breaking down day by day having a husmand with Alzheimer - people doesn't or can't accept that they must give such person into professional care. There is one point reached, when we can not do anything - no communication is possible. I have a 98yerars old client, having vascular dementia, not Alzheimer and still I am happy that she still knows who I am.- GOd bless you my friend.

  • @111oldie Thank you so very much.

It is a wonderful thing you are helping the elderly. I myself have been playing music as a benefit for years in senior care centers. God bless you and your family. Merry Christmas --:)Rod

  • a beautiful song for your mother bro. I am sure she understood the music.

Music and small children have a way of getting through to victims of Alzheimers.

they both have a universal language that everyone can understand.
