I believe it was mid 1991, and Brian fuller was coming off of 5 straight wins on the show, facing tough opponents week after week. He met his toughest competition when Steve Renaud came in to face him, and it was a good match too.

Here is part 1, I hope you enjoy :D

  • I know you're a busy guy wolf and these video's are awesome that's making me like Candlepin bowling moread more. These shows you post on here brings back memories which many New Englanders would watch week after week. I'm not from the area but you got a rich sport legacy of your state. Keep up the amazig work.

  • Heh...funny to think that child is as old as I am now (19).

Thanks for the video. As a non-New Englander, I am fascinated by candlepin bowling.

  • Thank you kids for another great season, by the way, and I am so thankful that this is on Youtube for me to find--I, a displaced Mainer...AND THERE IS NO CANDLEPIN TO BE SEEN OUT HERE IN WASHINGTON...HELP!

  • Just to inform you, it's Josefiak, not Guiseppiack.

And you're right, cause I can't wait to be up there with the pros.

  • He does so much good with his candlepin for kids show. I cannot wait to see this year's championship, and some of these kids step up as future pros: Jon Budreau, Steve Jr. Billy Bloom, Madison Kelly, the Guiseppiacks, Rob Taylor...

  • yay coach steve! i won the state doubles with the baby there. lol his average is 115

  • Whatever that means........

  • Not much. The Bowl Mor pinsetter is still by far the most common seen in Candlepin centers, and it came out in the 50's I believe.

The advances in techology have been with lanes going more and more synthetic, and Candlepin alleys are all finally putting in computer scoring.

  • i'm from the midwest, so of course there's no candlepin center around. i just want to know, has candlepin technology changed much in recent years?

  • The guy in the grey shirt's first ball looked like a penis.
