I read this book back in the 70's I found it at my granny's house as she was an avid reader w/ an extensive library great story.

I highly recommend the book by Tom Tryon titled "Harvest Home", upon which this movie is based. A real page turner, even if you know the story. The title was changed for TV because the original was considered too bland. "Dark Secret of Harvest Home" is much more enticing and thus more attractive to viewers not familiar with the book.

@Cissy2cute I agree read the book if you can find it. A lot more happens in the book that we don't get to see in this movie and even do this was a pretty good movie, the book rocks it!
