A Jam Handy stop-motion extravaganza set to the third movement of Mahler's First Symphony. It lends a rather melancholic tone to the parade of indentured automobile parts. (Note: volume starts low. It's supposed to. Mahler's like that.)
My grandfather, Edward Satory (cinematographer) worked on that Autolite parade film which was made by Jam Handy here in Detroit. He also did a similar film for scotch tape! I have original proofs and stills from these films.
Well done James, and I never thought I'd see an auto parts commerical made downright creepy like this.

It reminds me of one of the old soviet May day parades.
Almost as good as the Johnny Quest stop motion.
