  • please dont feed ur dog grapes it could kill them!!!!!!!!!! my dog beat the odds, and survived acute renal failure, for the sake of ur dog and me, plz dont feed him grapes!!!!!!!!!

  • he doesn't really eat the grapes, he just likes to lick the outside

  • Be careful with grapes....they are on the list of foods that dogs should not eat.

  • we know... he likes to lick them... not eat them. We wash them before eating so there is still a bit of water left over..... he just likes to lick to extra water off.

    Thanks for your concern

  • your movies always make me smile

  • Grapes will cause your dogs kidneys to fail.

  • @moonfish18 everyone cares because sausage dogs are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it a weiner dog no one cares if it eats grapes

  • Grapes can be ok, if only given 1 here one day, half here another day a month later. (and the tolerance levels of each dog does vary considerably! just be cautious!,have fun RONI!

  • Always listen to your vet, and keep yourself updated on the latest dogie treats banned lists.

So as a recap, grapes can be ok, licking grapes is probably perfectly ok, (since the grape isnt eaten at all) Grapes are just another thing to watch your dog around. If he eats 1 as a treat and acts unusually GO TO YOUR VET! toxic problems are best dealt with quickly.

  • grape used to be ok as treats, ppl used to freeze them and i even have veterinarian written books with grape treat ideas! the new news is that grapes can be toxic to many dogs, and the quantity to reach toxic levels varys per dog, (and not even by size, its totally random which dog may tolerate grapes more) the absolute latest news on grapes for treats (NOT FOOD) is that they are alright if given VERY sparingly and not frequently. this means ask your vet about your dog.

  • again, sry i forgot this last time!, dont feed in large quantities!!!!!!!! if u r going to feed him grapes only give him like 1 or 2 a day!!!!

  • My male weiner dog will eat just about ANYTHING. doesn't matter if its lint on the floor or plastic. i always got to keep an eye on him make sure hes not up to badness
